13 Oct Indonesian Nasi Goreng
A lovely treat for two (also fab for guests, double the recipe quantities to leave your quests feeling spun and salivating before they’ve begun).
1 grated carrot
1/2 cucumber cut into 1/2’s
6ml of soy sauce
2 sliced spring onions
1 heaped tablespoon BNUTZ vanilla and macadamia nut butter
250g brown wholegrain steamed rice
Bring rice to the boil and set aside.
Using the sesame oil heat a large frying pan on low heat.
Add the grated carrot and spring onions
Once these are cooking add the rice, with grated carrot, spinach and spring onion.
Adding in the soy sauce and a dash more sesame oil.
Whilst, you wait for this storm cook your eggs in a separate pan
Garnish with sliced cucumber and simply enjoy.
