Blueberry cacao porridge bowl.
Perfect winter warmer! keeping you feeling warm and satisfied. Cacao the amazonian anti-oxidant king. never underestimate the power of cacao! cacao is known as a superfood. it contains an extremely high amount of antioxidants, vitamins, minerals and other health-boosting anti-ageing, disease-fighting goodies. Cacao is the highest plant-based source of iron. Raw cacao has more calcium than cows milk and lastly, cacao is a natural mood elevator, it contains the neurotransmitter tryptophan, tyrosine and phenylethylamine. So basically this bowl will lead you to vegan euphoria.
Not only does it look great, but this bowl is also totally instagramable so make sure you take a snap before tucking in!
- 1 cup of soy milk
- 1/3 cup porridge oats
- 1/3 cup of water
- 2 tsp maple syrup
- splash of vanilla extract
- 2 tsp cacao powder
- Dollop of BNUTZ cacao and hazelnut butter
Bring the oat milk (or dairy free milk) to boil in a saucepan.
Stir in the oats and reduce to a low heat.
For the Jam;
Simmer 1 cup of frozen blueberries with a splash of water.
Add 1 tsp maple syrup until the liquid has cooked off.
Top with a few fresh blueberries and a large dollop of BNUTZ cacao and hazelnut butter.
